Ilan Ezra holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University, an LL.B. in Law, and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
In addition, Ilan serves as a senior lecturer at universities. He has over 30 years of extensive professional experience. Previously, he was a senior partner in the tax department of one of the Big Four accounting firms for about 20 years.
Ilan is a former senior official at the Israel Tax Authority, where he served as a senior coordinator and a management team member at the Large Enterprises Tax Assessor Office. Furthermore, Ilan played an active role in legislating provisions related to structural changes in the Income Tax Ordinance. He was also the first director of the Structural Changes Department at the Tax Authority headquarters. This department specializes in mergers, acquisitions, splits, and other structural changes.
